What to do in Montreal in the spring?
Squeezed between winter and summer, the Montreal spring only last for the month of April. The snow melts, the birds sing and Montrealers smile again. Numerous activities were organized this year for the 375th anniversary of Montreal. Here are some of the activities for this spring 2017 to do with family, couple or alone.
NHL Play-off Montreal Canadiens
The Montreal Canadians have won the Stanley Cup 24 times and are one of the favorite teams this year to win the trophy. Come see Carey Price and his teammates defend the colors of Montreal at the Bell Center or in one of the numerous bars in the city. Emotions guaranteed!
Expo 67, 50 years later
As part of the 375th anniversary of Montréal, the city is also celebrating the 50th anniversary of Expo ’67. A timely event in the history of Québec which left many traces on Montreal architectural heritage. Numerous exhibitions will take place in April at the Hotel de Ville, the McCord Museum, the Biosphere and many other places.
The Great Invitation
From May 19 to 21, Royal de Luxe invites you to rediscover the history of Montreal in giant format and with the touch of Gulliver. Giant puppets will walk the streets of downtown to count the history of the city in their own way. Do not forget to bring the little ones!
Go Bike Montreal
The Bike Festival is back in Montreal and lovers of two-wheelers are going to be spoiled. Numerous events will take place at the end of May and beginning of June 2017: Tour de l’Ile de Montréal, Tour du Nuit, Metropolitan Challenge and Bike-to-Work. Go grab your helmets!
